This project was for my ART 337 - Interaction Design class where we were asked to design an integrated cross-platform app that assists users in specific, daily life situations. The user would have the ability to access the app through two different devices. While our design on both devices should be cohesive and complementary, they should not operate in the same way.
I chose to create a concept for an emergency preparedness connection app called Prep Swap, and would be available on phone and desktop. The purpose of this app would be to help users be prepared in a variety of emergencies. Features would also include social functions to connect other preppers that want to buy, sell, or trade preparedness goods, articles from trusted sources, and an editable list of items and skills that the user can check off.

Here is the final solution. The mobile app would be available to the general public, while the desktop version would be available only to volunteers and employees. This project helped me better understand the UX experience. My favorite part was definitely the creation of the custom icons and graphics that I did from scratch in Illustrator.
