This project was for my ART 337 - Interaction Design class where we were to come up with a concept for an app and create a design around that idea. I chose to do "The Daily Lotus", an app for iOS that gives you permission to take a pause from your busy day, check in with your feelings, and allow time for mindfulness.

Final Solution

After receiving feedback from testers, peers, and instructor, here is the final design solution. Because the Emotions Calculator is the main feature of the app, I created a hierarchy within the different circles to show what buttons were most important.  Overall, I wanted to create an app that was well-designed but simple. This project taught me the importance of research, sketching, user testing, and creating prototypes before presenting the final design.
